Atlantic Retreat Cottage is a completely remodelled cottage (finished January 2018) with modern and all-new building equipment/ appliances. This luxurious and stylish cottage is situated on a Galway Bay peninsula just a short 10 min drive away from the vibrant village of Kinvara with all its famous quay, pubs, restaurants, arts galleries and castle Dungaire. Galway Bay is just 500 meters away and the famous Traught Beach is in just 1 km distance.

You can enjoy great Burren views from most rooms. We offer an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor (sleeps 6) and an apartment with one bedroom, 1 and ½ bathroom and one large comfortable sofa bed (140x200 cm) to sleep 3 on the TOP floor. You can also rent the entire house (both apartments) at a discount.

Both apartments offer a spacious living/dining/kitchen area. A 4k LED TV with all eircom channels and a variety of sports/nature/history/entertainment channels, a blue-ray player and various DVDs offer entertainment for the entire family. Ultra-fast fibre broadband keeps you connected throughout the house.

All beds are extra-large with new mattresses and oversized duvets. Suitable for people with allergies. The triple-glazed soundproof windows have adjustable air vents installed. The kitchens are fully equipped with a stove/oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of tableware / kitchen utensils to cook with friends and family. We offer free tea, condiments and a starter pack of coffee capsules and milk. Furthermore, our utility room is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and more. All appliances are labelled with easy-to-use instructions.

The apartment features a wood stove (starter pack included) and a sunroom with stunning Burren National Park views. The master suite offers a bedroom with bathroom (shower/bath tub) and separate toilet. The two other bedrooms share a bathroom with shower and toilet. We supply toys and DVDs for kids of all ages as well as high chairs and a baby crib.
